This is a very gently used Zpacks 10 degree sleeping bag. It is X Long and standard width. Can be pulled fully over the head at this length or up to the face by someone over 6ft. I have only used it 2 or 3 times. It does not get cold enough where I primarily camp, and I run pretty warm so only use the 30 degree bag I have. They now have different temperature ratings for the bags so 10 degree is no longer available. Sizing 5 degree is the closet down weight they have shown now.

7" x 13" (18 cm x 33 cm). Our "Classic" sleeping bag is our original model with a 3/4th length zipper on the bottom. It combines the best aspects of a down quilt and a down sleeping bag at an unbeatable weight. The bag opens up underneath you like a blanket for easy temperature control when it is warm out. When the temperature drops you have the option to zip up the bottom to seal out any drafts.

Keep the zipper (or the opening) positioned below you for the most insulation and warmth. The bags are made with premium 900 fill power white European goose down and some of the lightest nylon shell materials available.

Our down is ethically sourced straight from the producer. You can also get the same bag as a zipper-less Solo Quilt. Version with a full length zipper and a draft tube. Goose down works by creating tiny air pockets which act as a thermal barrier. Generally speaking, the more loft a bag has (the thicker the insulation) the more air it traps and the warmer it is.

It is very important that the down stays where you want it rather than shifting around or clumping up, creating thin cold spots. Our bag has narrow, relatively short chambers so that the down has less room to migrate. It has vertical chambers at the upper body to prevent the down from being pulled to the sides by gravity as you shift around at night. There are no sewn-through spots except the zipper which is positioned underneath you as you sleep.

Vertical baffles on the upper body keep down from migrating to the sides. Tightly spaced compartments help keep the down evenly distributed so there are no cold spots. There are no "sewn through" seams. Each compartment is overstuffed with 30% more 900 Fill Power. Premium Goose Down than is necessary for maximum loft to account for any future down compression. Our down is ethically sourced and is a natural byproduct of the goose meat industry. Store loose (hanging in a closet for example) when not in use. Each bag has a hang loop at the foot.

Alternatively it can be stored loose in a laundry bag. Black fabric on the inside for quick drying.

Both the liner and the shell are treated with durable water repellant to resist rain spray and body moisture. 3/4 Length Zipper extends to your calves. The zipper is positioned on the bottom of the bag giving it two advantages. The bag can easily be opened up for venting in "quilt mode". Most of the time you probably won't even use the zipper.

Since the zipper is underneath you no draft tube is necessary- that means less weight and much less chance of a frustrating zipper snag. Getting in and out is as easy as turning the zipper to the side, or just slide in or out the top of the bag. A flat clip at the top of the zipper keeps the zipper securely closed.

Or use the clip alone with the zipper opened for venting. An Elastic cord can be cinched tight around your neck to keep out drafts, or pull the bag up around your ears. This bag does not have a hood- wear a warm hat, or a Goose Down Hood. Or size up in length if you want to pull it up around your head.

A Roll Top Dry Bag. Is included, and adds about. 9 ounces (25.5 grams) to the listed weight. The dry bags are a comfortable fit and can be compressed smaller by squishing the contents and rolling the top down more. Store the sleeping bag loose (hanging in a closet, or in a laundry bag) when not in use to protect the loft.
