Vintage US Military Down, Extreme Cold Weather, Type II Mummy Style Sleeping Bag

  
Here is a very nice military green extreme cold, type II, mummy style sleeping bag for consideration. Comes from a clean smoke free/ pet free environment. See the pictures for your best description and idea on condition and the condition statement above. The bag looks really good for a pre-owned item and functions just as it should. Rolled up this bag measures about 27 to 28 inches across and is about 12 to 14 inches thick. It could be rolled tighter and smaller probably but just use that as an average. When unrolled it measures about 80 inches long and about 27 inches wide across in the middle.

This is all when lying flat on the ground for measurements. It is filled with white down feathers and polyester. There are some small black ink spots you can see in the pictures in two places on the front in the middle of the bag about an inch or less on those. It looks like the ink they used to stamp the bag with, but I can't really tell.

The outside is very nice, and the inside is clean too. The only tear I see on the inside is on the underside of the button draft flap that folds over the zipper which adds extra warmth and insulation.

That tear is about 2 inches in length located below the third button down from the top and could easily be sewn up. You can see it in the pictures. I cannot sew so I leave that to someone else to do if they so choose.
