Vintage 1953 Korean War US Military Casualty Down Sleeping Bag Fur Liner #264

  
This is in great condition for being from the 50s! These bags were developed during the Korean War to keep the wounded protected from sub-freezing temperatures. There is prime feather filling, the upper part is ALL Down, the lower part is 40% down, and 60% waterfowel feather. The total weight of the bag is about 13.5 lbs. 5lbs more than any other I found online! The outershell is durable Olive. This will need to be. There are some lighter discolored spots as pictured. All markings are fully legible inside and out. The inside is a durable.

A full length heavy duty metal zipper also zips up both sides of the. Fur trim hood for maximum warmth and protection. VERY warm bag, great for hunting, camping, collecting. Doug here at Travelstrong (modeling) is about 5'9 for some measurement reference.
