On summer alpine expeditions, weight is everything and Montane have created the Direct Ascent Sleeping Bag to be as light as possible, testing the limits of endurance. Shell fabric is PERTEX® Quantum Rip-stop that is exceptionally lightweight, breathable and features a durable water repellency. 475g of 90/10 high quality goose down at 800+ fill power, certified non live plucked and non force fed. Bag has 3-D construction with side walls to allow comfortable sleeping on side.

Two way YKK VISLON® zip enables lower access or ventilation whilst zip is drawn up and also allows sleeping bag to be opened out to aid airing and drying. Two down filled baffles behind YKK zip that extend past zip end for draught proofing.

With a PERTEX® Quantum Rip-stop, the Direct Ascent Sleeping Bag is lightweight and breathable, offering impressive water repellency with a 90/10 goose down at 800+ power fill offering the perfect level of insulation. When sleeping, the anatomically designed shape tapers around the lower legs and curved around the shoulders to reduce cold spots and to provide a snug fit. The upper bag design with rear crown elastication reduces bulk around the hood which increases thermal efficiency and with a soft, microfleece inner, you can rest your head in comfort. At the bottom, a flipper foot box allows for a natural foot positioning when lying on your back.

Additional features include ¾ length YKK VISLON® zip, angled away from the body to prevent cold ingress, underside roundels to grip to a sleeping mat and internal safety pocket.
