This is a very nice vintage Eddie Bauer goose down sleeping bag. The tag states: Made in 1977 Goose Down, Net weight of filling, 2 Lbs.

Finished Size 29" X 84". The total actual weight of this bag is very close to 3.8 pounds. Looking at some tables, the loft and the down weight I would say it is about a 10-15 degree Fahrenheit bag, making this a great 3 season bag. This bag was made back when Eddie Bauer was an outfitting expedition company and high quality Goose Down was.

This sleeping bag was used just a few nights and is even still quite clean. The large toothed two way zipper works just fine. There is a draw string for the head and one for the neck too. A pocket under the mummy head so you can put your coat or? In it to act as a pillow. There is a name written on the "Do Not Remove" tag and on the stuff sack flap. There is one small mark that looks like a felt pen touched the bag (see picture close up of head area). The stuff sack is made of waterproof coated nylon, and as is typical of this material, has become sticky over the years.
